You must be 18 years old or have a parent/guardian approve before a live animal will be sold to you (Proof will need to be shown)
If article 6 is violated no refund or in-house credit will be issued
No monetary refunds will be given on live animals only in house credit will be issued
Purchases are a first come, first serve basis
Make sure you 100% want the animal in question prior to purchase. Absolutely no monetary refunds will be given at any time, no exceptions. Payment Plans: 30 Day Payment Plan: Available for all animals $100+. A $25.00 payment plan fee will be applied to all plans. This plan is to be paid off within 30 days. A 50% non refundable deposit is required to start your payment plan. 60 Day Payment Plan: Available for animals $300+. A $30.00 payment plan fee will be applied to all plans. This plan is to be paid off within 60 days. A 50% non refundable deposit is required to start your payment plan.
All Deposits and payments are NON-REFUNDABLE
Geckos are not yours or marked sold unless they are paid for in full
We will mark your gecko ON HOLD when a 50% deposit is paid and cleared.
All Payment plans will be set up via PayPal’s Invoicing system
If you decide to back out of the payment plan: NO refund will be issued for deposits or payments. Only in house credit will be given for amount already paid
Shipping costs are not due until it's time to ship the animal (Payment will be needed 3-5 days before the ship date)
No animals will be shipped until Payment plans are done and payment clears
Gecko(s) must be shipped within 1 month of final payment being made (Unless weather does not allow)
If the animals in question are not shipped out a month from final payment made. You will automatically forfeit your animals and they will be relisted for sale. A in house credit will then be issued to be used on live animals.
You are required to stay in contact with us during your payment plan. Failing to respond to us within 48 hours will forfeit your payment plan and animals will be relisted for sale, 1 week after the 48 hour limit (unless special circumstances arise)
A payment plan fee of $25-$30 will be applied to EVERY payment plan. Unless otherwise stated
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up your payment plan. Please provide your Name, Email, Address, Phone #, the gecko you are interested in and if you would like a 30 or 60 day plan when emailing us. We will then send you a PayPal invoice. Once 50% is paid, we will put the animal on HOLD/Remove it from our website. Purchasing In Full: Simply purchase using our website! Make sure all your contact information is correct and up to date on your account so we can contact you as needed. Once you have purchased your gecko(s). It is your responsibility to email us within 1 week to attempt shipping. Unless shipping is currently closed. In that event, we will contact you to set up a shipping date when weather conditions are optimal. Read “In’s & Out’s of Shipping” section for more shipping information. If you wish to back out of your purchase:
In house credit will be issued or you may pick animal(s) of equal or lesser value
In house credit is good for up to 2 years from issue date
A 25% holding fee of your total will be withheld from the in house credit or exchange amount.
No monetary refunds will be issued: only in house credit
Why is the 25% withheld in the event I no longer want the animal I purchased? Once an animal is sold. That animal in particular, will be removed from all advertising platforms. Will not come to the expos with us to be sold and all photos removed. Photos, listing creation and advertising all takes up extra time and in the event you decide you no longer want that particular animal. We will have to redo all of these things. Not to mention the time/expense to hold/care for an animal that could have otherwise had a forever home elsewhere. We have held animals in the past for 3+ weeks, only to have the customer no longer want the animal. In cases like this, we will certainly hold 25% back to help offset costs mentioned above. IN’S & OUT’S OF SHIPPING We frequently update our shipping status via www.klwreptiles.com, Facebook and our terms of sale. As the customer it is your responsibility to check the updates prior to purchase and after purchase. The animals safely is our #1 concern. Do not ask us to break the following guidelines. We will not Our Shipping Guidelines: Shipping is a flat rate $55 no matter the number of animals purchased
Temperatures have to be between 40° (overnight low) and 80°(daytime high). There has to be 2 days in a row with these temperatures to ship (Your location and my location)
If a gecko has to be held for appropriate shipping weather we will hold free of charge
If the weather decides to change and we have to wait for shipping weather, no refund/in house credit will be given. The weather cannot be controlled!
You must specify if you would like to ship to your local FedEx hub for pickup or your home at the time of purchase (Leave in the notes section)
If you would like hub pickup please include which hub you would like the animals held at (Notes section)
We cannot control if FedEx has any delays during shipping which causes your package to arrive late. If FedEx has a delay while your package is in transit no refund on shipping costs will be given and it will void our live arrival guarantee
If a gecko is listed (price shipped) that means we will pay shipping and there is no extra cost to you
You must be home to receive your animals, you are required to sign for the shipment

We will only ship to the provided address on PayPal/our website. This is to protect us as well as you. And is required by most buyers protection
You will receive at least one photo of box/animals just before they are shipped/packed up for shipping
We will only ship our live animals Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. We will not ship after Wednesday to prevent an animal from possibly being stuck at a FedEx hub over the weekend. We utilize reptile specific boxes, heat packs and cryopaks to ensure all animals are packaged responsibly. We will decide if heating/cooling elements are required the day the animal is shipped. Gecko(s) will be shipped within deli-cups to provide a safe shipping situation. Each deli-cup will have air holes in it along with the top taped to ensure no one escapes during shipping. It is vital that you provide us with the correct address. Please triple check that your address is correct before sending it to us. This can cause many issues and could result in the death of the animal. If you have your animal(s) held at a hub. Please make sure the FedEx center will hold live animal shipments, not all do. If shipping to a hub, most packages are ready for pickup around 9 AM. If shipping directly to your home most are delivered by 12:30 PM assuming there are no delays. *If you would like to purchase a ledge or small container of food from our website. Please ask us before purchasing if we can fit it in with your live animal shipment to save you on shipping cost! Some items will fit, some will not. If items are purchased before approval and they do not fit. We may have to charge a flat rate shipping fee of $4.99 to ship the items separately.
Gecko Tails: Geckos can drop their tails. Due to this, we cannot be held responsible for tails dropped during shipping or while under our care, and no refunds/in house credit will be given for dropped tails. Sexing Pores seen, possible pores seen, no pores seen or possible male, possible female are all observations we have made at the time of photos. This is NOT a guarantee. The only time we will guarantee a sex is if it says Male or Female. If a gecko is unsexed, we have not had a chance to loupe it yet or it is too small. We will not loupe a gecko that says unsexed. All geckos are sold as is. We will not attempt to loupe them again after they are purchased. Photos We do our best to accurately represent each individual gecko. We do not edit our photos, occasionally we will crop them (most of the time we don't even do that). All photos are updated every 2-4 weeks. We typically leave older photos up if we have them. We will sometimes note a misfire/unfired or color correction (our camera will sometimes pick up slightly darker/lighter colors). You are free to request more photos, please include what you would like to see more of when doing so. Photo requests can sometimes take us 24-48 hours to fulfill.
Weights All weights are updated every 2-4 weeks and measured in grams. Due to the frequency of our updates, I will not gather a new weight prior to purchase as they are updated often. After purchase: If we are holding an animal for an extended period of time. We can gather a new weight 1-2 times a month at your request. Live Arrival Guarantee? KLW Reptiles DOES offer a Live Arrival Guarantee! In the case of a rare DOA, we do not refund. But in house credit will be issued for half the total of the original total. (Example: Your total without shipping $150; $75 would be issued as your in house credit)
Shipping will NOT be refunded on a DOA package
We will not cover the cost of shipping for a second package
We require proof! You must contact us within 30 minutes of the package being delivered with the following:
Photo evidence: 3 photos at different angles (deli cup lid must be removed)
Unboxing video (Must be able to see/read shipping label information, and the process of removing the gecko from the box, in a well lit room)
Photo and video must not be blurry or shaky
We may ask for new photos/video if evidence is not clear
If evidence is not provided within the first 30 minutes of receiving the package.
