Please bare with me on our Main Collection + Facility pages.
I have so much information I want to include on these pages. Things like: Past Pairings, Holdbacks, Every gecko we own + lineage, quarantine protocol/why its important, how we personally care for each individual species and how to help them transition to there new home and SO much more. Some adults listed here are still with us and some are not. Some photos are very old and need an update.
Expect to see this section of the website in disarray as its under construction. It will be better organized soon.... I promise

Housing Methods
(Crested and Gargoyle)
Here at KLW Reptiles we use many different methods of housing our Geckos. Tubs, PVC, Glass and Bioactive Enclosures are a few ways we choose to house our creatures. Here you can find examples of all of these. We primarily use fake foliage but some inhabitants have live plants. We like to use a wide variety of décor from Cork Bark to pool noodles. When creating a habitat for a Crested Gecko or Gargoyle Gecko we keep in mind there climbing, basking and hiding habits. While trying to achieve an enriching habitat we also like to keep in mind the health and cleanliness of each enclosure. We "spot clean" (by spot clean we mean change any and all substrate/décor that is soiled and clean with an animal safe cleaner) whenever we see a mess but also do a mandatory clean once a week. Deep cleaning is done once a month to every other month depending on the time of year. Some of the cleaners we like to use are F10 Disinfectant, F10 Sanitizer, Chlorhexidine Solution, Bleach Water and Vinegar Water. Cleaners in RED must be washed off thoroughly before living things can be introduced and are not animal safe. Cleaners in RED are what we use for deep cleaning. Cleaners in GREEN are animal safe and are what we use for our "Spot Cleaning"/Weekly Cleanings.
